Notes: Handwritten note on item verso: First commercial hangar is added. Note that all planes are biplanes. Colonial Airlines, owned by Juan Trippe, was the only overland flight Trippe controlled. I started the first regularly scheduled commercial passenger service in 1927, from Boston-New York. At this time, the legislature took the airport out of the Army's hands and leased it to the city of Boston because of the need for expansion for civil aviation.

Day seven: President's day. I took this just before leaving for Logan International Airport. I had a scheduled flight for 5pm. The lines to check in were so long. Nearly all the kiosks for self check-in were down. I didn't get to talk to an agent until about 430/445. That's when the agent told me my flight was overbooked and I would have to ask if someone were willing to volunteer to give up their seat for me. I volunteered myself and got a free round-trip ticket out of it. Re-scheduled my flights for the next day, Tuesday February 16th.
